RESTAURANTS

La Magicienne
The village’s main restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, is named after a famous French naval frigate. It is where you can enjoy all the flavours and subtleties of Mauritian cuisine VGP 1810-style. Our chef’s specialities include cari, rougaille and vindaye accompanied by kutcha, chatinis and other tasty local dishes.

Le Bouvet
Named after the French admiral, Pierre Bouvet, who fought in the battle of Grand Port, Le Bouvet features a wooden décor, reminiscent of bistros of former times. Its speciality is traditional Breton pancakes as well as a traditional French cuisine that also uses quality local produce.

The Willoughby
The Willoughby is the perfect place for those who enjoy traditional British-style meat and fish dishes, including the famous fish and chips and apple pie and custard. The ambience is truly chic with the food served in period British aristocratic style.

The three restaurants specialities of VGP 1810 incorporate produce from the village and the local area.
